For the first time, your child has the opportunity to influence the curriculum they will study and as such will have to make some important decisions about their education over the coming months. We will support you and your child through every step of the process so that they make an informed choice and are happy about the subjects they will ultimately take to examination.

At Barlby High School, it is essential that we support you to choose the right courses to take to examination in Year 11. As such, there are countless factors to consider and we strongly recommend that you find out as much as you can so that you select the most appropriate courses for you. We hope that this will not only give you the best chance of achieving the highest possible outcomes, but will also enable you to progress to post-16 education and training.
