Forest of Galtres Anglican Methodist Primary School

The Forest of Galtres Anglican Methodist Primary School is situated in the village of Shipton-by-Beningbrough close to the city of York. Our spacious, purpose-built site was established in 1986 to replace the Victorian schools in Shipton, Newton and Tollerton. It is located in a beautiful setting with a large playing field, trees, wildlife area, outdoor play equipment and two playgrounds. Its main aim is to ensure that all our children have access to excellent educational experiences enabling them to achieve their full potential in all areas during this very important part of their lives.
